IN BRIEF

DAIRY producers are being urged to voluntarily notify known cohorts to MAFF so cattle can be culled as soon as possible. The Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers believes this action is necessary so that the largest part of the selective cull can be completed within two months of the start date.

The RABDF is concerned about the stress put on farmers who know that they have stock targeted for culling but have no idea when that cull will start.
