A 30% rise in earnings from animal health and agrochemical products helped Rhone-Poulenc achieve a net income last year of nearly £308m; 28% up on 1995. The French chemical company, specialising in pharmaceuticals, animal health and agrochemical products, reported an 11% growth in animal health sales.
