A KEYLESS ignition system has been introduced by Bobcat for its range of skid-steer loaders. Designed to prevent theft or unauthorised use, the system allows machines to be started only by operators in possession of a four-digit access code. Each unit is also programmed with a four-digit master code to permit operation of the loader at any time, and allows a user code to be changed. Bobcat says the ignition can be retrofitted to existing machines to replace the traditional rotary key switch.
