THE BBCs Farming Today programme has won a stay of execution but is to be reduced to a 10-minute slot at an earlier time from Apr 1, 1998. BBC Radio Four controller James Boyle said Farming Today would start at 5.50am, and would remain independent of the Today news programme, which will begin at 6am.
