uMEMBERS of co-op Midland Shires Farmers are to receive an extra bonus of 2% on compound feeds and blends. Add on the normal 1% bonus for those and other products, as well as a 6% interest on qualifying share capital, and a total of £703,000 will be allocated to members, a return of 12% on invested funds, says the firm. MSFs year end results show profit before tax and distribution to members fell 14% to £1.113m. Turnover was £105m, 10% lower than in 1996.
