• SCOTTISH seed merchant Gordon & Innes has signed an agreement with German company Saatzucht Fritz Lange KG, and Global Potato Marketing BV of Holland. The deal covers production, marketing and development of new varieties. Leading the way is Serafina, a salad variety that has outperformed Charlotte and Nicola in European trials. G&I says that a supermarket in the UK has already taken the variety on board. *
