At Purn Way, Bleadon, near Weston-super-Mare, the 10.01 acres averaged £4246/acre and was classified grades 2 and 3.

Auctioneers were David James & Partners.

&#8226 NEAR Billingshurst, Emmetts Farm in West Sussex includes about 70 acres of mainly pasture, a barn with planning permission for residential conversion and a three bedroom farmhouse.

It is guided at offers in the region of £585,000 for the whole by agent Monkhouse & Partners.

&#8226 ON the Isle of Thanet between Broadstairs and Margate, Kent, 42 acres of grade 1 land are for sale through G W Finn & Sons guided at £140,000.
