India opens tea business to world
INDIA is lifting restrictions on the ownership of tea companies, reports the Financial Times.
This comes after the government was convinced that the denial of foreign direct investment could make India a net tea importer in the long run.
It is to allow 100% automatic ownership of tea companies.
