It’s a roll-over week

This Massey Ferguson 135 survived an adventurous maneuver over the edge of a sand-pit.

flipped tractor

After it was taken off an irrigation pump, the tractor free-wheeled across a field and over the edge of the nearby quarry.

Thanks to its raised loader and cab it managed to avoid any serious damage. Its owner turned it back onto its wheels and filled it with oil and diesel, before firing it up and driving off – no harm done!

Unfortunately the happy ending didn’t last long as the tractor was stolen three months later, never to be seen again.

So if you’re the owner of a Massey 135 with a slightly bent cab frame and a tendency to flip on its back then it could be hot.

Many thanks to John Allen of Sandy in Bedfordshire for owning up to this mishap.
