KW drops wheatfeed price

WITH the straights market continuing to remain quiet, KW Alternative Feeds has resorted to lowering some prices in the hopes of stirring up more competition.

Wheatfeed pellets have fallen 6/t this week to 64/t.

“Wheatfeed was dear anyway, and as we brought the price down, so did the wheat men,” said David Clarke of KW Agriculture.

“Lack of demand has also added to the drop in price.”

Elsewhere in the market there is very little movement.
