LAST CHANCE TO WIN AN ORSI HEDGECUTTER WORTH OVER £7000

Farming fortunes may rise and fall, but the need to cut

field hedges and verges never changes. Do the job in

style by winning a new Orsi Alpinist 460P

hedgecutter from Landmec Pottinger in our June

competition. You know the form – just read the rules,

study the text and fill in the coupon on this page

Main features of the Orsi 460P are as follows:

&#8226 Rigid mounting kit, consisting of twin turnbuckle bars and a top link-mounted yoke to triangulate the tractors three-point linkage. This minimises the movement of the hedgecutter on the tractor during operation.

&#8226 Strong construction – the lift arm tubes are 120mm x 100mm and the whole unit weighs 845kg. So its built to last.

&#8226 The main hydraulic pump/ motor is a reliable cast-iron unit manufactured by Casappa.

&#8226 Hydraulic power slew on lift arm. This allows the lift arm to pivot to the rear when a solid object is encountered, avoiding damage.

&#8226 Parallel linkage automatically keeps the cutting head level when extending and retracting the lift arm.

&#8226 Fully independent hydraulics allow all controls to be operated from the control lever console.

&#8226 Five-lever cable controls with detent positions for on/off and rotor forward/reverse/float levers.

&#8226 Universal flail holders on the cutting head rotor accept five different types of flail, enabling a wider range of applications and standards of finish to be carried out.

&#8226 Float position on cutting head is ideal for verges and banks. The head automatically follows ground contours, giving a uniform cut height.

&#8226 Rotor reverse facility allows cutting to take place with the flails rotating in either direction.

What is the cutting width on the prize Alpinist 460P?

A: 1m? B: 1.15m? C: 1.25m?
