Latest CJD victim worked in butchers

MICHAEL CONNOR, 59, from Littleborough, Rochdale has been named as the latest
victim of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. He died on August 9.

It has yet to be confirmed whether he suffered from the new variant, which
has been linked to eating infected beef. He had a Saturday job in a butchers
shop for 10 years up until 1987.
