Leak-proof seal for concrete…

KEEPING concrete impervious to hazardous and corrosive liquids is a necessity if the environment is to be suitably protected. Lancs-based Tecnishield Systems believes it has developed such a seal for concrete structures such as silage pits, effluent tanks and wet grain stores.

Called Contiseal, the product is also designed to protect porous masonry, and is suitable for sealing both floors and walls.

The seal can be applied using a brush, roller or spray and is said to dry quickly.

Contiseal is supplied in 25lt containers and typical usage costs are about 50p/sq m, says Tecnishield. Price is £109 a 25-litre container (01282-619601).
