Lely gains distribution rights to bale handlers

LELY is increasing its UK product range by taking on the distribution of bale handling kit made by companies Meijer and Armstrong. Dutch-based Meijer will supply Lely with a large square bale collector designed to stack two bales high, while a round bale collector will be offered for accumulating two bales together for faster wrapping or loading.

From UK-based Armstrong, Lely will distribute flat eight and 10-bale sledges. The sledges are designed to work behind behind high capacity conventional balers – positioning the bales tightly packed ready for loading onto trailers. Prices for the conventional bale sledges start at £2340, while big bale collectors cost up to £7130. &#42

Flat eight and 10-bale sledges built by Armstrong will now be distributed by Lely for work with high capacity conventional balers.
