Linseed contract

JOHN Ebbage Seeds of Downham Market, Norfolk is offering a potential £10t premium over the standard on-farm price on about 5000t of linseed for human consumption and other outlets from harvest 1998.

The Downham Market-based wholesaler expects significant interest from overseas buyers.

The contract is open to growers of both winter and spring linseed and will ideally suit varieties such as Oliver and Arctica.n
