Lower the injured with brake control

FUJIKURA Europe has developed an arboriculturalists personnel rescue kit to enable an injured or ill person to be quickly lowered to the ground.

The lowering kit comprises high strength flat webbing instead of rope, braked stop ascenders and rescue bag containing first aid dressings and a water/windproof space blanket. Fujikura says the kit can be used to handle both victim and rescuer simultaneously, via individual harness points, so the rescuer can control the brake.
