Mexico and EU in trade deal
TRADE officials from Mexico and the European Union have signed an outline trade agreement, the first signed between Europe and a Latin American country.
The deal covers trade in manufactured and agricultural goods and services but few details were available.
The accord was expected to give European countries tariff parity with Mexicos partners in the North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta), signed in 1994. Some 85% of Mexicos trade is with the USA.
