Monitor warns of high CO2 levels
THE Airwatch PM1500 has been developed as a pocket-sized monitor to warn of dangerously high levels of carbon dioxide.
Worn on a belt clip, the monitor emits an intermittent audible alarm and starts a flashing light when CO2 levels reach 0.5%. At 1.0%, the alarm and light operate continuously.
Measuring 140mm high by 65mm wide by 20mm deep (5.5 x 2.5 x 0.75in), the PM1500 can work for 10 hours on a single charge, states its manufacturer, Environmental Instruments. A one-hour fast charge restores battery condition.
Price of the Airwatch PM1500 is £400 (01926-470101).
