Mother warned teacher of farm danger to her son

A MOTHER whose 14-year-old son died in a farm silo, warned his teacher of the dangers of farm machinery, an inquest was told.

James McKay was killed after falling into the 25ft silo on 6 June last year.

His mother, Isobel McKay, said she had voiced her concerns about the dangers to the teacher in charge of work placements at Wey Valley school in Weymouth, Dorset.
