AS NEXT months Grassland event draws ever-closer manufacturer declarations of new product launches increase by the day.

Kverneland is the latest company to announce its plans for the event which will be held at Stoneleigh, May 22-23. The company will, it says, be revealing a new range of mowers, rakes and bale wrapping equipment.

These include the Taarup 5090 Butterfly – a 9.6m wide triple mower combination which uses existing Taarup mower conditioners but in a strengthened format.

For those wanting high output from a trailed mower the Taarup 4062C with its 6.2m working width could have some attraction. Reputed to be the widest trailed mower currently available, the 4062C has the ability to place 12m of cut grass in a single 3.6m swath.

A mid-size, twin rotor rake is also set to make its debut in the form of the 7.5m wide 9075C and, a high speed version of the companys T8 round bale wrapper will be on view. &#42
