A SON of the French sire Tonnerre stood supreme champion and sold for 3050gns at the Northern Ireland Blonde dAquitaine club fixture at Portadown.
Breezemount Lancelot was from Rodney and Karen Arbuckles herd at Ballymena and was made a convincing champion by Preston-based judge Tom Alty, best known for his top winning Middle White pigs. Buyer was W Rainey, Co Down.

The well-muscled Ballygowan Mighty, by Carn Gordon, earned breeder Rodney Gibson 3000gns from James McCullagh, Co Antrim. An excellent trade pushed many bulls over the 2000gns mark.
Adrian McClure produced another outstanding heifer by Garcon from his Ganaway herd at Ballywaiter to stand femalechampion. She made 2000gns to Richard Mowbray, Co Tyrone.(Automart)
