Nestle to pay less

NESTLE announced a 2p milk price drop from October at this weeks Dairy Farming Event, paying between 20p and 21p/litre, depending on the factory supplied.

"This will be a serious blow to many milk producers, but results from a saving up of currency changes over the last six months," said head of milk purchasing, John Ross. "All milk processors are following the Milk Marque floor. That was why we paid too much for the last year."
