New Topic — Retailers, are they the answer?

I AM an A-level student currently doing a project on the livestock and meat
industry. Over the past two weeks I have seen the intervention of the supermarket 95% of the time in every nook and cranny of the meat industry.

Frankly, I think it is disgusting. The farmers are being pushed out of business and the retailers want to employ farmers as their guinea-pigs, and use them to their requirements, meaning that farmers could easily not sell any cattle for months at a time.

I am hopeful that the forthcoming idea to knock livestock auctioneers is not
going to happen because that will just worsen the blow.
