Bale wrapper promises savings
KRONE claim savings of between £2,340 and £5,400 by using its one-pass in line bale wrapper, ELHO 1820, compared with two separate passes for the job. The new machine costs about £14,000 which compares to £7,000-8,000 for a mid-range tractor mounted wrapper. Cultivator boasts rigid tines
QUIVOGNEs Rotormaster employs two rows of rigid tines, shear bolted and protected, followed by a spiked rotor, levelling board and packer roll. Optional feet are available for the tines. Accurate transfer
TEAM have introduced a portable direct agchem transfer system for returnable containers or kegs. It is suitable for any size from the ecomatics 25-litre to over 600-litre IPU containers. Called the Signet operation, it is claimed to be accurate to within 2%. The required quantity of concentrate is dispensed automatically. Cost is £1,342 plus VAT.
