No oil mixing in tanker

JOSKINS range of slurry tankers can now be equipped with a closed circuit hydraulic system which, says the company, avoids oils becoming mixed when different tractors are used to operate the tanker.

It also ensures that there is always sufficient hydraulic power available for the tankers slurry chopping unit or turbo filler unit. Drive to the hydraulic pump employs the same shaft as used by the vacuum pump, while there is also an option for an electro-magnetic clutch that allows the hydraulic pump to be operated independently.

Incorporated in the system is a hydraulic reservoir set in the tankers chassis. &#42
