EASY starting features on the latest Makita and Dolmar chainsaws, the DCS341/PS341 and DCS401/PS401.

Using a manually set decompression valve which closes when the engine fires, the chainsaws are said to require 70% less effort to start than those with conventional recoil starting systems.

Engine sizes are 35cc and 39cc using guide bars from 30cm (12in) to 40cm (16in) in length. Prices are from £238 (01908-211678).
