OK for poultry salmonella vaccine
THE US Government has approved a vaccine for use against poultry salmonella.
The vaccine stimulates immunity when it is sprayed on hatched chicks.
Megan Health of St Louis, Missouri, is producing the vaccine, which has been developed by Washington University in St Louis.
Research has shown the vaccine to be 100% effective.
