Organic fruit research bid
LEADERS of the UK fruit industry are preparing to make an application for a European Centre of Excellence for Organic Fruit Research to be based at HRI East Malling.
"Demand for organic fruit is set to accelerate across the UK and Continental Europe," says David Parry of HRI East Malling.
"The UK fruit industry and the research organisation that is working with it are ideally placed to play a central role in this growth market." *
