Political bull

After reading Europe-wide BSE suspected (FWi News 08 March 2000) I noticed that the French
and the Swiss have admitted that BSE infected animals are entering the
food chain (and presumably still are).

This is an admission from the
country that – if all their propaganda was to be believed that British beef
was banned because it was poisoning their population – the same rules dont
apply to thier own animals.

Has the British government banned French beef
yet? If not, why not? Maybe the British government doesnt care about
the British population or maybe they think British people cant get
infected by eating infected French beef!

Or maybe its just politics!
