Power washer boasts fingertip control

TELECONTROL is the name given to the electronic control system used on Frank power washers. It enables the operator to control the units functions from the wash lance.

A three-position switch on the lance allows the operator to select cold water, hot water or cleaning chemical, without having to return to the power washer to make the selections. It is achieved by electronic pulses sent via the metal braiding in the high pressure hose, back to an electronic control board in the power washer.

Additionally, when the trigger is released, the power washer switches off and hose pressure drops to zero, making restarts easier, it is claimed.

Frank hot water power washers equipped with Telecontrol cost from £2000. (01427-718104).
