IF you are in the market for a self-propelled wheelbarrow, then the Italian-made IBT Mini Transporter range imported by Swindon-based Walfins could be of interest.

Powered by 4hp and 5.5hp Vanguard petrol engines, the four-model pedestrian operated range provides load carrying capacities of 300kg and 500kg, respectively. Flatbed or dumper bodies, with manual or hydraulic tipping action can be fitted.

A further refinement is the ability to specify rubber tracks to provide low ground pressure and high levels of traction.

Prices range from £2299 for the 300kg, 4hp flatbed version up to £3149 for the 500kg, 5hp dumper model with hydraulic tipping action (01793-770964).
