8am Showground opens.
8.15am Judging of Shetland ponies in-hand, Highland ponies, hunters in-hand, working hunters and hunters under saddle.
8.30am Horseshoeing and shoe-making competitions begin, continuing all day.
9am Judging of Highland, Blonde, Simmental, Limousin, Charolais and Beef Shorthorn cattle and North Country Cheviot, Suffolk and Ryeland sheep.
Shopping arcade and Food From Scotland exhibition open. Demonstrations begin in handcrafts pavilion. Fleece competition in goat marquee. Tree climbing rescue demonstrations.
Flower Show opens to the public.
9.30am Angora goat judging. Logging demonstrations begin.
10am Gatemaking competition judging.
Ornamental Ironwork Competition judging.
10.30am Horse logging demonstrations, sheep show, fly-casting demonstrations.
11.30am Cheese and butter judging. Fleece competition open to public.
Noon Belted Galloway cattle, prime lambs (live), Oxford Down sheep judging.
12.30pm Half-bred sheep judging.
1pm Clydesdale horse judging begins, hunters under-saddle and small hunter judging. Shearing demonstration.
2pm Judging of Cheviot, commercial and Border Leicester sheep.
2.30pm Aberdeen Angus, commercial cattle, Salers, Hereford, Belgian Blue, Galloway judging.
3pm Show jumping begins.
5.15pm Overall hunter judging.
6pm Heavy horse single turnouts including farm carts, show jumping.
6.30pm Heavy horse turnouts (singles).
8pm Showground closes.
FRIDAY, JUNE 21
8am Showground opens.
8.15am Highland ponies, mountain and moorland ponies, open hunters, Eriskays, Arab, Anglo- Arab and part-bred Arab judging. Dairy goats judging.
8.30am Farriery competitions all day.
9am Judging of Jersey, Dairy Shorthorn, Ayrshire, Holstein, Lincoln Red cattle. Bluefaced Leicester, Charollais, Texel sheep. Horse logging competition. Handcraft pavilion, flower show and exhibition hall open.
9.30am Logging competition.
9.45am Riding ponies in-hand.
10am Sheep shearing. Welsh ponies C and D judging.
10.45am Scotlands Finest Woodlands awards.
11am Fleece competition presentations.
11.30am Native beef teams competition.
Noon Show jumping (international trials).
12.45pm Best two in-hand ponies judging.
1pm Sheep shearing. Logging competition, sheep show.
1.30pm Falconry display.
2pm Parade of prize livestock – heavy horses, light horses, cattle and goats. Mountain and moorland ponies under-saddle judging, Lleyn, Scotch Mule, Shetland, Beltex sheep.
2.55pm New implement awards presentation.
3pm Show jumping begins. Dairy goat judging. Horse logging.
4.30pm Heavy horse unicorn turnouts. Scottish Hereford Breeders Association stock judging.
4.45pm Dairy goats overall championship.
5.30pm Hackney Driving.

8am Showground opens. Working hunter ponies judging
8.15am Judging of donkeys, riding ponies under- saddle, Welsh Mountain ponies, Marks & Spencer Elite Beefbreeder championship
8.30am Farriery competitions all day, sheep shearing competitions begin, horse logging competitions.
9am Junior beef cattle inter-breed championship. SAYFC stockmanship competition eliminations – cattle and sheep.
9.30am Poultry judging. Sheep shearing.
10am Harness, grooming and decoration (heavy horses) judging. Beef cattle inter-breed team competition judging.
10.30am Fly-casting demonstrations. Logging demos.
11am Leading rein and first ridden ponies judging. Junior dairy cattle inter-breed championship.
11.15am Robert Wiseman & Sons dairy cattle progeny group competition. Overall beef cattle judging. Inter-breed judging.
11.30am Dairy cattle inter-breed team competition.
Noon Overall dairy cattle judging. Inter-breed championship judging, including the Queens Cup for the best exhibit in the dairy cattle section. Overall sheep inter-breed championship judging.

9.30am Farm skills pentathlon begins.
10am Interdenominational service. Foxhunter championship final.
11.15am Sheep shearing – five nations championship. Highland dancing competition.
11.30am UK logging competition.
11.45am Show jumping.
Noon Marks & Spencer overall sheep pairs inter- breed championship. Clydesdale young stockmans class.
12.15pm Heavy horse turnouts (teams of six and championships).
1.45pm Band display.
2pm Parade of prize livestock. National final of the Clydesdale young handlers competition.
