Rate control made simple on sprayer

A LOW-COST sprayer control system is now available for Hardi sprayers which, the company says, is quick and easy to fit and connect.

The Controller 2500 is designed to permit automatic control of application rate in respect of changes in forward speed and comprises four main components – a display screen, scanbox junction box, flow rate transducer and forward speed transducer.

In operation, the operator simply enters in to the system the required application rate and sets the system to automatic. Flow rate is then adjusted automatically in respect of forward speed and application rate is maintained if a section of the boom is switched off.

Hardi has also introduced a suspension system for its trailed sprayers. Seen at Agromek on the companys Commander model, the system comprises a coil spring and damper fitted to each end of the axle.
