Round bale net wrap offered

A ROUND bale net wrap which claims to prevent net necking down on the bale, is now available to UK farmers.

Marketed by United Agricultural Twines (UAT), the ability of Tamas Edge to Edge round bale net wrap to cover the entire bale, says its manufacturer, will improve the quality of wrapped silage. They say this is due to the stretch film being in contact with the bale at all times, eliminating the possibility of trapping air between the shoulder of the bale.

When used on hay and straw bales crop losses could also be substantially reduced.
