Royal Show first for The Archers
By FWi staff
THE cast of The Archers hopes to make radio history today by recording an episode entirely on location for the first time ever.
The rural soaps stars will spend today making tonights episode at the Royal Show in Warwickshire.
The everyday story of countryfolk will be recorded at various sites around the showground. The tapes will then be whizzed to Birmingham, ready for broadcast at 7pm this evening.
The Archers is the UKs longest-running soap-opera. It has been broadcast on BBC Radio for more than 40 years.
