RSPCA to oust leading hunt backer
By FWi staff
THE RSPCA is set to end the membership of triple Olympic gold medallist Richard Meade because of his support of fox-hunting, claims The Times.
The newspaper claims to have seen confidential minutes of a meeting set for Wednesday (25 April) which looks at legal options for ejecting the showjumper.
Recently, the society rejected 500 membership applications from people accused of being part of an infiltration campaign by pro-hunt supporters.
