SAC head with plans to expand its advice

JIM SETON, the head of the farm and rural business division of the Scottish Agricultural College, is profiled in The Herald today.

Mr Seton says his advisory service would like to co-operate more with the farmers union and the various organisations involved in the rural economy.

The SAC advisory service has 80 advisers throughout Scotland and support staff of another 40 employees.
