Scots criticise Brown’s £120m aid package
SCOTTISH farmers have criticised the structure of the Governments £120 million aid package.
Critics say it has too much emphasis on hill-sector livestock producers and has neglected finishers.
Arable farmers also expressed concerns about the lack of support for cereal growers.
The concerns were aired at a Scottish National Farmers Union council meeting in Edinburgh which was addressed by the president George Lyon.
