Sheep farmers winning name game
By FWi staff
A SHEEP farmer who can name his entire 600-strong flock has been named wool producer of the decade, reports the Daily Mail.
Brian Thornborrow, who with his wife Dorothy runs Frithholme Farm in the Yorkshire Dales, has records of more than 300,000 sheep.
Mr Thornborrow, who was awarded his title by the Wool Marketing Board, admitted that while he recognised his stock, they did not come if called.
