Sounds like itll keep rodents at bay
ULTRASOUND signals are used by the Felix 400 rodent control unit marketed by Eddie Palin Distribution.
Designed to irritate rather than exterminate, the Felix 400 uses variable sound pressure to disperse rodents – the strength of the sound pressure is sufficient to protect an area of up to 200 sq m, says the company. Larger areas can be protected by adding additional sets of speakers.
Sound waves are bounced off the walls in the area designated for protection and are said to be inaudible to the human ear. Requiring a 240V supply to operate, the Felix 400 costs £110 (01630-658488).
