Supermarket sausages slammed
SAUSAGES sold in some of Britains leading supermarkets are poor quality, containing too much skin, rind, gristle and sinew.
This is according to a report by the consumers magazine Which?
The report says that the broad definition of “meat” meant that consumers are being misled, as sausages contain large amounts of fat and other materials.
Safeway and Tesco were among the worst offenders.
