Teat dip promises efficient milking

REDUCE mastitis risk, lower total bacterial counts and Bactoscans and ensure quicker and more efficient milking with a high emollient teat dip, says Genus.

A base of 10% glycerine is said to help skin actively absorb additional moisture rather than maintaining current condition. The company also claims that the iodine content is among the highest of any similar products and has to produced kill rates of mastitis bacteria as high as 99%.

The product is suitable for dipping, spraying or udder washing. It is supplied in 25-litre drums, at a cost of £35 a drum although bulk discounts are available. (01270-536584), fax (01270-536601).
