Time to go it alone without subsidies

I AGREE with R&J Jackson of Bolton (Congratulations to the Welsh farmers, FWi, 2 December).

Maybe we should all farm without subsidies, stop filling in endless forms, sell our beef and lamb at the farm gate and cut out all the middlemen.

Wouldnt it be nice to think of all those EU officials and supermarket
bosses out of a job!
