A NEW herbicide additive, Toil, derived from industrial oilseed rape is the first methylated seed oil to be authorised by MAFF as an adjuvant, according to supplier Interagro. An alternative to mineral oil-based products, it is rapidly biodegradable and comes from a renewable source, says technical director Richard Newman.n
