Trade stand space sold out for Royal Highland
TRADE stand space has been sold out for the Highland Show and all major machinery manufacturers plan to attend despite the downturn in farmers fortunes.
Hywel Davies, the shows retiring chief executive, said the mood was upbeat despite agriculture facing the sort of crises already endured by the coal and steel industries.
Livestock entries are running much on par with last years figures at 4,000, ending fears that the cost could deter some exhibitors.
