Transfer pumps fill fuel-thirsty tanks

MEETING the needs of fuel-thirsty farm machinery, Spaldings now has a 12/24v transfer pump in its Truecraft range.

The pump, says Spaldings, has been developed for high horsepower machinery such as combines, self-propelled harvesters and large tractors.

Maximum pumping capacity is 80 litres/min, enabling a 600-litre tank to be filled in about eight minutes, claims the company.

Portable for field use, the transfer pump is supplied with 4m of electrical cable and two crocodile clips that connect to the battery.

Further specification includes a 3m suction and delivery hose with nozzle, and a filter. Price of the transfer pump is £200 (01522-500600 www.spaldings.co.uk).
