Tullow trailed diet feeders launched in UK by Landmec
LANDMEC is now marketing Tullow Farm Machinerys range of diet feeders in the UK – an announcement which coincides with the launch of four new trailed models.
Two capacities are on offer – 10 or 14cu m, in two different versions – with or without a chopping system.
Those who choose the chopping option will want to know that the system comprises 36 knives which can be retracted hydraulically when sufficient chopping has been achieved.
This means, for example, that roots could be chopped before the addition of other ingredients.
A whole-length shearing edge is deigned to ensure that when loading and mixing, material does not bridge, an arrangement which is also claimed to reduce overall power requirement to a minimum of 70hp.
Features for all machines include shear bolt protection, rubber edged mixing paddles, hydraulic brakes and parking brake.
Price of the 10cu m Standard model is listed at £12,750 while the 14 cu m Super Chop version carries an £18,865 price tag. *
