Vaccinate ewes in just one shot
EWES now need handling only once for vaccination against both enzootic abortion and toxoplasmosis, using Enzovax and Toxovax, says vaccine manufacturer Intervet.
Previously, the company advised giving the two vaccines four weeks apart, but controlled trials show this is unnecessary, allowing vaccination programmes to be completed in less time. Vaccines should be given at least four weeks before tupping begins, says Intervet. *
