VEGETABLE protein sources feature in the formulation of a feed block for cattle and sheep which contains no urea, launched by Rumenco.

Rumevite Natural has been added to its range in response to requests from customers who wanted a block without urea, says the company. Protein is said to come from vegetable sources, such as soya, rapemeal, prairie meal and potato.

It adds that the high energy formulation is based on molasses and cereals, with added vitamins, minerals and XP yeast – as a natural performance enhancer.
