Video: Sheep art provides colour at Tour de France
The Tour de France 2016 is proving a spectacle for farmers as well as lovers of cycling.
Farmers Weekly has discovered this beautiful video of a flock of sheep, dyed in the different colours of the teams taking part in the event which finishes on 24 July.
The video shows the sheep being shepherded close to Mont-Saint-Michel – one of the most recognisable landmarks in France.
The tour is the world’s largest annual sporting event, watched by a global audience of more than 3bn people.
It is not the only farming-related stunt that has been pulled during this year’s Tour de France.
It is said you never see a farmer on a bike – but French farmers have also shown their support for cycling by creating an impressive moving sculpture of a bicycle using bales and tractors.
